SARXES' SERIOUS PHILOSOPHY:

NO ONE should fear the honest expression of beliefs and opinions.

On Government....

There is NO good government. As Henry David Thoreau so succinctly states: "That government is best which governs not at all." Therefore, in agreement with this basic presumption, all forms and means of government should be abolished, (which, of course, will never happen). Instead, government needs to be minimized to the absolute basic and essential powers, none of which said powers are held over the rights of the people. These powers are: providing for a reasonable national defense, and keeping of a treasury. That is what the Founding Fathers intended and that is what the Constitution states.

On The One Rite Of Initiation In The United States....

If we have a single, common rite of passage into adulthood in this country it is certainly the first driver's license. Once issued, the licensed priviledge to operate a potentially lethal weapon carries with it a responsibility to thousands of other motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, etc., with whom the road is shared. Such a tremendous priviledge assumes both a reasonable maturity and a conscious sensibility: In other words, we must be insane!

On The Welfare State....

If you don't work, you don't eat. No adult deserves the priviledge of garnering the fruits of another's labors. Period. For the sake of children (under 17 or 18 years), who need assistance due to irresponsible or otherwise disposed parents, children who cannot be held fully accountable for their situations, a nutritious food program is probably required. Humanitarian and religious organizations should provide these services. The only reward for sloth, or laziness, should be misery. This justifies and fully explains my present condition.

On Human Purpose....

To love and learn is to live; to cease in love and learning is death.

On Bovine Flatulence....

Just another way a cow can kill ya'. ee cummings, of course, said it best: "Never humps a cow."

On Fear....

We fear what we do not understand. There is much we do not understand.

On Imagination...

The human imagination has no limits. We are entirely limited, however, by our own imaginations. (This is not phunny, just a bit clever.)

On Morality....

Goodness brings goodness brings goodness. Moral goodness is serving others; meaning is given to life when we love and we are loved. Love is patient and empathetic, yet love does not alter nor induce any negative behaviors or characteristics in others. An act of goodness, to whatever degree of smallness or of greatness, is a reward in itself and is always repaid. Yeah, right!

On Dreams....

There is an old Spanish saying that the "poorest of us all is not the one without a cent-- it is the one without a dream." Dreams are nothing, however, without action. We should pursue our dreams, or desires, to the end that we gain all we possibly can, but never at another's expense. I wish they hadn't said it, but the US Army slogan sums it up best-- "Be all that you can be." Imagine that, coming from a government institution focused on human slaughter. ;)

On The Most Under-Appreciated of Human Characteristics....

Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the force that creates and maintains a positive mental outlook. Desire, or direction, or motivation towards a goal, or what is sometimes called "Drive," focuses the attention on what can be acheived. With Faith, in and of itself, the human being may move mountains. With enthusiasm, we may move stars.

On The Most overrated Human Characteristic....

"Sportsmanship"
It's good to be a good winner and anyone who denies that winning and coming in first place isn't the goal, is a loser, a liar and a fool.

On Listening....

What are words for if no one listens anymore? What if everyone shut up and just listened for a whole day? Who could do it?

On Pornography & The Internet....

I would never oppose freedom of expression. It is an unalienable right. Then I saw my neighbors in the nude on the internet! Now I'm reconsidering my position and relocation.
