From Boston Massachusetts. Have lived abroad. Resident of Santa Cruz since 1980.
Scholarship to Wellesley College, Wellesley MA (BA degree).
Lifetime teaching credential, K-12 in Massachusetts public schools.
MA in English Language and Literature (Rutgers University NJ).
MLS in Library Science (Pratt Institute, NYC).
Knowledge of children's literature.
Use multi-sensory tutoring methods as necessary: aspects of Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood Bell, etc.
Knowlege of phonemes and phonics of American English language.
Can teach grammar, punctuation, spelling, writing, literature (English and American).
Interested in gifted and talented. MENSA member (lifetime).

The Learning Center is located in a residential area
on the east side of Santa Cruz city.

Sessions, Monday through Friday, and Saturday or Sunday,
are by appointment only.
