FA Transcript Request

This FOCEXEC program creates batch transactions to fill in the financial aid transcript information (screen 305 in the SIS on-line system). First, a little bit of background on the financial aid process. Before a student is awarded financial aid, they must submit financial aid transcripts of all the institutions they have previously attended irregardless of whether or not they received financial aid when they were there. Now sometimes a student will forget to do this (either by accident or on purpose). However, when they alert the student records office that they want to transfer some courses from this other institution (for example), this FOCUS program will pick that information up since SIS is an integrated system. This used to be done by hand, but hey this is the 90s, let the computer do it! :-)
