This FOCUS program will extract the social security numbers from SIS SBA500 report file (letter file) and produce a list with name and student id of those who are enrolled for the specified terms. Just in case you'd ever want to do something like that. Actually, this program came about because the financial aid office wanted to pull out those that they could "complete" on SIS screen 306. For example, a female student who somehow is being tracked for Selective Service. This was being done as part of the year end processing for financial aid. Just in case you didn't know, SIS SBA500 produces what is called missing information letters for financial aid. That is, it alerts students as to what document(s) they need to provide so they can get awarded; like for example a female student who is being tracked for selective service. :-)
