This family is very well researched by a lot of other genealogist.
I am trying to decipher which son is my ancestor. In my grandma's notes (passed through the family, not researched) Jesse Carter is the father of Lucy Carter (married Hubbard). My grandma even had his birthday correct. However, Lucy was dead by the time Thomas Carter, Jr died. In his will he leaves property to the children of his late daughter, Lucy. Is this my Lucy or did he also have a daughter named Lucy who died young? If I didn't have my grandma's notes, I would assume my ancestor was Thomas, Jr., but most of her notes have been correct and the birthdate raises a flag with me. Either way, this is the right family.
