Chad's Summary: Thor gets into fire fight with Osiris in the midst of space. The Goa'uld ship has far superior shields to that of the Asgard weaponry. The Asgard ship is destroyed, and Thor is presumed dead. Freyr requests SG-1's assistance in rescuing Heimdall (Voice of Teryl Rothery) -- an Asgard scientist who is conducting genetic research vital to Asgard survival as a race. SG-1 proceed on the mission while still in mourning for Dr. Daniel Jackson. The team travel to the planet, on which the scientist is located using a Cargo Ship. They are, then, beamed into the underground Asgard research base by Heimdall. She tells SG-1 that Thor is, indeed, alive. Thor is a being held captive aboard a Goa'uld Ship. Heimdall informs the team that the Asgard people are all clones. The Asgard are dying because of advanced cellular decay. O'Neill and Teal'c ring transport aboard the Goa'uld ship while Anubis (David Palffy) does the same. The Goa'uld detect SG-1's transport forcing O'Neill and Teal'c to evade Jaffa search parties with the help of Carter who is still on the research station with Heimdall. Anubis informs Thor that his knowledge will, simply, be downloaded into the ship's computer by use of new technology available to Anubis. Heimdall shows Carter an ancestor of the Asgard who is not affected by genetic degradation. Heimdall, her ancestor, and Carter are all beamed up to SG-1's Cargo Ship. Thor helps O'Neill and Teal'c out out of the Goa'uld cell where they are held. Meanwhile, the Goa'uld begin an attack on the research station. Osiris finds Carter, back on the research station, and asks about Dr. Jackson. O'Neill destroys control crystals that power the Goa'uld Ship's shields. Thor, O'Neill, Teal'c, and Carter are beamed to the cargo ship. Three Asgard ships, lead by Freyr, challenge the Goa'uld who promptly retreat. After some time, SG-1 find that Thor has lapsed into a coma. O'Neill, Carter, Teal'c, and Hammond sense a presence on the base just before all except Hammond leave the SGC for a bite to eat.
