Chad's Summary: Martouf arrives at the SGC with news that the Goa'uld Sokar (David Palffy) has captured Carter's father, Jacob/Selmak, and sent him to the planetary moon of Natu also known as hell. The only Tok'Ra to have escaped Natu was Jolinar whom Carter hosted for a short time (In the Line of Duty ). Martouf and SG-1 embark on a rescue mission to Natu in order to save Jacob/Selmak. To find a method of escape, Martouf and Carter use a Tok'Ra memory device ( Out of Mind Part 1 and Into the Fire Part 2) to access Jolinar's memories. As a side effect, the device also accesses Carter's own painful memories of her mother's tragic death. They arrive at Natu by ship. Teal'c remains on the ship while the rest of the team search for Jacob/Selmak on the surface. They are soon captured and placed into prison with Carter's father. Carter tells the team that Jolinar used her relationship with Bynarr (Bob Dawson) to escape Natu. Bynarr thanks Sokar for sending Jolinar's former host to Natu, and Sokar realizes that the new comers are intruders. Jacob tells the team that Sokar has a fleet of ships ten times larger than was thought, and Sokar is planning an attack. On the ship, the message is relayed to Teal'c. Carter is interrogated, by Bynarr, for information. Just as Bynarr begins to kill Carter, Na'onak (Dion Johnstone) kills Bynarr. Carter tells everyone that Bynarr has a Ring Transport device in his quarters. The team escape the prison and head for the transport device. Martouf tries to hot wire the device while Na'onak destroys the door and enters the room. Na'onak is revealed to be Apophis.
