Chad's Summary: SG-1 returns to Earth with news of an advanced race known as the Aschen who are willing to share advanced technology with Earth (See: 2010). O'Neill and Carter are to act as consultants to the negotiating team, which includes Ambassador Joseph Faxon, while Jackson and Teal'c investigate the Aschen through covert means. The SGC discovers that the Aschen home world may be P4C--970 -- an address locked out of the dialing computer seven months ago on General Hammond's orders. As negotiations proceed, Daniel and Teal'c discovery a secret and hidden underground room. Meanwhile, SG teams 3, 12, and 15 are set to go on missions to determine if the Aschen home world is any of the three other planets besides P4C--970. However, these missions are canceled by General Hammond's superiors presumably on the grounds of interference with the negotiation process. Jackson finds newspapers and can translate all but one word. The negotiating team becomes unsure of Aschen motives. O'Neill and Carter are informed that P4C--970 could be the Aschen home world while Jackson and Teal'c have their own suspicions that the Aschen may not be who they seem. Carter and Joseph Faxon find out that the Aschen Vaccine causes sterility after Mollem (Dion Luther) translates the missing word that Dr. Jackson could not. Carter escapes to warn Earth, but the ambassador heroically sacrifices himself to allow Carter's Escape.
