Chad's Summary: While on a mission (P2X--338), Carter finds a pack of Russian cigarettes on an alien world. General Hammond orders SG-1 to return to the planet in a joint mission with a Russian Stargate team. Dr. Jackson succeeds in opening the Ziggurat. The mission is a search and rescue operation to find a missing Russian Stargate team who disappeared six days before the mission depicted in the episode Watergate. The teams split up with Teal'c accompanying the Russian team. A Russian also accompanies SG-1. SG-1 discovers the skeleton of one of the missing Russian team members. Teal'c and the Russian team finds a sarcophagus. The Goa'uld Marduk is found dead inside the sarcophagus. Both the skeleton and Marduk exhibit tiny teeth marks. Carter and Lt. Toliney (Jennifer Halley) find a cocoon. Teal'c and Col. Zukhov (Earl Pastko) discover more human remains. A creature attacks injuring Lt. Toliney. The creature is host to the Goa'uld parasite using the name of Marduk. Col. Zukhov removes the Eye of Te'amin -- the secret mission objective of the Russian team. The creature is injured and later found dead by Carter and Teal'c. Now, who among the group is host to the Goa'uld Marduk? Major Vallarin (Alexander Kalugin) is the host who is looking for the Eye of Te'amin. Vallarin gets into a fight with O'Neill and Zukhov. Col. O'Neill escapes death, and SG-1 along with Lt. Toliney ring transport out of the Ziggurat. They return to Earth. The ring transport takes place seconds before a C--4 explosion killing the Goa'uld Marduk.
