Designed and developed a system to interface mainframe reporting systems to Lotus spreadsheets. Maintained and improved reporting systems for accounting, production control a dye-house scheduling. Designed and developed a system to schedule production planning at the SKU level incorporating actual orders with forecast and reporting trend analysis. Developed and maintained programs to interface mainframe production control with purchased software and SAP.

Designed and developed a system to capture and edit video images using a PC with VGA graphics for the needlework design industry. With the system, design time is reduced by 40 times. Implemented national marketing plan with leaflets, magazine advertisements and exhibition at trade shows. Wrote an in-depth users� reference manual and operations guide. Developed an image editor for designing fonts to download to HP and IBM laser-jet printers.

Senior Programmer/Analyst (Bruno�s Inc.) Mar. 1986-Dec1991  
Installed and maintained MARWOOD warehousing system. Installed programming standards and naming conventions. Trained all programmers in structured program design and de-bugging techniques. Developed various small batch systems to report item movement and commodity analysis for produce, meat, bakery and grocery buying departments. Developed batch system to gather and edit MSI store orders. Developed online handbill system to enter stores/ orders and report on a remote printer. Redesigned and developed automated store orders and billing system. The new system processed stores� orders, prorated or substituted orders for out of stock items, assigned waves, printed warehouse picking labels an d slot replenishment labels, wrote a warehouse shipping schedule, invoiced the stores, and finished in one-fifth of the old system�s run time. With two other programmers, converted 2,000 programs form DOS to MVS. Researched, designed and developed an on-line deal buying system incorporating turn buying methods used in INFOREM and IMPACT with the manual deal buying system used by the grocery buyers. Supervised four programmer analysts coding and testing the project to use the 3270�s extended attributes, draw bar graphs on the terminal and use PF keys to switch between different system functions.

Programmer analyst (Saunders� Leasing System) Sept. 1979-Mar.1986  
Developed and maintained batch and online programs using command level CICS and COBOL, following the Yourdon methodology of structured systems analysis. Developed fuel and state tax reporting system. Participated in converting from DOS to OS.
