SCIENCE TEACHING
Teaching Philosphy

A basic understanding of science is both a birthright and a critical component of productive citizenship in the modern world.

Science can be made exciting and  accessible to any audience by presenting it as a story, and making use of literary devices such as character, plot, climax and conclusion.  It is also useful to avoid specialized jargon, follow a clear and logical format, and use analogies to concrete, everyday things.  These tools enable academic and lay audiences alike to absorb and retain new concepts.
