The Group Task
                      The Task
At the end of this project, your team will create an original media presentation that will use and apply concepts learned during our webquest. The application of these concepts will take the form of a skit, a newscast or a scene to explain the use or effects of wave theory.Your team will perform each of the following task for final assement.

General Tasks
1. Explain the anatomy of a general wave. Ex. Crest, Trough,                         Wavelength, Amplitude, Frequency and Velocity
2. List and explain the uses for each type of wave.
3. Explain what things will create waves.
4. Explain what waves affect our lives, both good and bad.
5. Explain what 21 centuries technologies use wave theory.
6. Summarize your project in an outline or concept map.
7. Complete a bank of vocabulary words with definitions that are                    appropriate to your project.
8. Create a powerpoint presentation that will organize all your                         information and ideas.
9. Create a skit or video that will illustrate and apply one principle that             you learned about during your quest.

Powerpoint Specs
1. The Slide show must be at least 9 slides.
2. Each slide must contain transitions and background colors
3. Slides may not be information copied and pasted from the Internet.
4. The slide show needs to have at least 4 clip arts or pictures relevant             to your project.
5. The slide show must have transitions between slides but NO sound             transitions.
6. At the end of the show, you will use one slide to list bibliography                 information. (where you got all your info)

Final Media Presentation
1. The group must choose a specific topic from their research to report            on in their final project.
2. The group must present the project either in class or on video. Either           way is fine. Remember, when you make a mistake on video, it can                be edited. You can't do that when you present in person.
3. Every group member is required to participate in the presentation one          way or another. If they are not directly presenting, their role must be               documented.
4. Grades are based on quality of info presented, creativity and school             appropriateness.
