| How I Play Music in Yahoo! Voice Chat | |||||||||||

| I am making this page because everyone in Yahoo! Chat seems to play music through a piece of shit mic when the fact is that playing music into a chatroom doesn't even require a microphone. Also, when people hear the clarity and sound quality of the music I play they always ask me how to do it and I am tired of repeating myself. So, here is the best way to play music in a chatroom. 1. First, get Y!Daze Mic Lock on my booters page. 2. Mute the chatroom but keep voice activated. 3. Open your recording properties: a. double click on the speaker in your tray b. go to Options>Properties c. Under this window put a check in every box then click OK 4. Select the source you wish to play from. If you are not sure which one to use then just use the wave option. sometimes referred to as loop back. 5. Play the music while using Y!Daze Mic Lock to hold down the Talk button. *NOTE* Adjust the levels on your recording control to the lowest setting. then adjust the volume of the source down until you dont see any yellow on the mic. this will prevent distortion. |
