The Nameless Anime Fanart Site!

Like the name suggests, this is the place where I post up all the fanart in my sketchbook. None of these are copied (except for the one of Lina with the Bless Blade); they're all hand-drawn, but I sometimes look at pictures of the characters for reference if I don't know how to draw them. If proportions and such look weird, it's probably because I never use guide lines. They annoy me.

I don't know why anyone would, but if you want to use any of these for your site or whatever, then please tell me first. I know it's a pain, but I like to keep track of where my work's going.

Oh, and if anyone cares, I use sketchbook paper, any old pencil that I see lying around my room, and Painshop Pro 5.

[72.6kb] Nuriko
I hardly ever colour my pictures. I'm always afraid I'll ruin it. But I decided to make this sketchbook full of coloured drawings, and this was the first one. I chose Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi because I had so many different shades of purple.
[75kb] "I want to be stronger! Stronger! Stro...what the hell?"
I don't know why, but I like human Zelgadis, and I've always thought the scene where he's turned into a chimera by Rezo was cool. I wanted to experiment with colouring with only one type of colour. I wanted to clash the blue (it's blue cause it's night time) and Rezo's red aura (which I think only existed in Zel's dream...) I was debating whether I should colour the background or not, and then I finally decided to. Overall, I think it worked out pretty well...but there's still a ton of things I want to change in this pic. Not including the yellow line which came with the scanning.
[120kb] She's evil, she's not.
This is when I started to get tired of colouring (especially after the previous pic...) In the front is Aya, and behind her is Aya when she's evil, aka Ceres. They're both from Ayashi no Ceres. I wanted to fully colour Aya, then just do an outline of Ceres in blue. I think it sorta has a neat effect.
[85.1kb] "Say your prayers, and prepare to be beaten by a tree!"
After giving up on the sketchbook for over a month, I got the 5th volume of Slayers, and thought the video cover looked cool (Lina with the Bless Blade), so I blatantly copied it. I think at this point I decided that the entire sketchbook didn't have to be coloured.
[91kb] Just standin' around. Yesiree Bob.
After another month, I just felt like drawing Ken from Weiss Kreuz, so I did. I don't have any complaints about this pic, except it's kinda boring cause he's just standing there. Oh well. I was just getting out of practice.
[153kb] Miz Mishtal
Miz is the water priestess from El Hazard (ex-water priestess in Alternative World). She has a water lamp, which is a ring that gives her powers. I think Miz is cool, even if she acts like an airhead around Mr. Fujisawa. Her hair was very interesting to draw.
[163kb] "Now for my dramatic pose..."
Again, Human Zelgadis. I like drawing characters how you almost never see them, cause it's more original and fun. Or maybe I'm just too lazy to put the stone studs on his face. Who knows.
[143kb] Xellos
Xellos looks so evil with his eyes open. Drawing sinister-looking people is fun, so I chose to do so with Xel. He kinda looks too old, but then again, he's pretty ageless.
[79.6kb] Fujimiya Ran
Again, drawing characters how you almost never see them. Ran, from Weiss Kreuz, is Aya before the big accident 2 years ago. Ran is so cute! He was like a completely different person. Now he's just...well, you'll see him later.
[79.6kb] Ran...now in colour!
This is the same drawing as above, coloured on the computer.
[60.7kb] Jinnai Nanami
From El Hazard. Nanami is cool. I still find it hard to believe that she's Jinnai Katsuhiko's sister. They're nothing alike, both physically and personality wise. Not to mention that she likes Makoto and Katsuhiko absolutely hates him. Like the Ken picture, she's just standin' around.
[143kb] Kou Aidou
Aidou is Tasuki's older sister from Fushigi Yuugi. She only appears in the manga, but fans still love her. She's the only sister you see, and she throws logs at his head. And she's got a Kansai accent, naturally.
[124kb] "Oh, Takeo-kun..."
From Mahou Tsukai Tai, Aburatsubo Ayanojou's name takes forever to memorize, but his character's pretty unforgettable. He's handsome, he's popular, and he's aggressively homosexual. This is one of my favourite drawings, and I'm thinking of colouring it.
[124kb] I can't colour clothes, la la la...
I traced the drawing above, inked it, scanned it and coloured it on the computer.
[113kb] Aono Tomo
AKA Seiryuu Shichisei Tomo from Fushigi Yuugi. This is his more human-like form in the illusion he made for Miaka. And no, he's not just standing around, he's waiting outside in the snow to give Miaka his brother's lucky pencil. Okay, so maybe that's the same as standing around. But it looks like he's thinking about something...maybe Nakago.
