The Great Wall of China was originally designed  to protect China from invaders of the
Tsongnoo tribes in the north. Now, it has become a popular tourist attraction, bringing in billions of dollars from all over the world.
The  fortification menders its way to a length of 7200 km and averages a height of 4.57-9.14 metres. The pathway is approximately 3.96 metres wide.

The most amazing aspect of the Great Wall of China is its size, especially considering the limited resources in the second century BC. The wall towers high above tourists,. The sight of the wall threading its way through China's countryside makes one marvel at the skill, time, and workers that must have been necessary to create such  a wonder. 7200 km. is approximately the distance between the North Pole and Miami. It is said that if the Great Wall of China was dismantled, the bricks could build a wall around the equator, 3 feet wide and 5 feet tall. The Great Wall of China can be seen from the moon, although this fact is debatable.
