SchoolNet Uganda has 42 academic Institutions in Uganda (Feb. 2002), some
of whci are list below.
King's College Budo: KampalaUganda
This is a christian founded co- rducational institutionm, founded
in 1906.
Busoga College Mwiri: Jinja
This is one of the Oldest schools in Uganda. Located on a high hillnear
Lake Victoria and river Nile.
Nabisunsa Girls' School
A muslim girls' school 4km East of Kampala, along Kampala Jinja Road
Mengo Senior School ,Kampala
One of the oldest schools in Uganda, gounded in 1905. It was one of
the three schools that started the WorLD Program in the World.
Ndejje Secondary School:
A rural school, 25 miles from Kampala, that has recently signed on
to the Schoolnet network.
National Curriculum Development Centre(NCDC)
: Kyambogo Kampala
Is the organisation responsible for initiation, development and reviewing
of the national curriculum. NCDC is now developing a Curriculum and technology
Integration program under the code name CurriculumNet sponsored by
IDRC.
