Natural Bridge Hotel is a nice looking hotel, but it wasn't where we ended up staying...
The entrace to the Natural Bridge and the Gift Shop...entrace to the Gift Shop was free...unfortunately there was a fee to view and explore the Natural Bridge.
The road leading to the cabins where we stayed as seen from the porch of the Natural Bridge Hotel...it was a nice hike to make four or more times a day.
View of one of the VMI buildings from on the terrance.
Statue and cannons infront of another VMI building. The plaque on the ground marks the burial spot of the General's horse.
Nice little waterfall along the walkway to the entrance of the Natural Bridge.
You've heard of swimming with the dolphins right? Anyone want to try swimming with a Canadian goose.
Note it says "Proceed with caution and at your own risk." and "WATCH FOR FALLING OBJECTS FROM ABOVE!"
The benches are meant for watching the light show at night...not for watching people get "beaned" from falling objects.
The underside of the Natural Bridge.
One side of the Natural Bridge.
Another waterfall sighted beyond the Natural Bridge as the skies darkened before the rainstorm.
The waterfall from the beginning of the exploration of Natural Bridge after the rainstorm.
Reconstruction of an Indian village.
Indian hut. Wonder what's inside...
The answer to the previous question.
The food preparation area in the Indian village.
Woven containers used by the Indians.
Improv table and grinding stones for food preparation.

Got to love the uniforms. Military Parade along the VMI main walkway through campus.
