Pauli and I were among eight couples that were invited to the party. As it turns out, all of the men in each couple participate in one of two Helsinki choirs. The night was most definitely filled with the songs of some amazing male voices.
The night started with a toast with sparkling wine, and followed with a great salad, dinner, and dessert. Throughout the eating, there was plenty of wine and vodka. From the dinner parties I have attended so far, it seems that the vodka is as common as the wine - a Russian influence I assume.
Below you can see a number of pictures from the evening. My favorite are the third forth and fifth down on the left side (their singing in Finnish, so I'm not sure of the song but I approve of the result).
