THE PROCESS
Step 1: Complete the Pre-Assessment (February, 2008)
Step 2: Preview the entire webquest.  Explore all of the links and play all of the games.
Step 3: Meet with your design team to select specific roles for each game designer in your team   (Word Wizard, Graphic Designer, Game Critic, Chart Maker)
Step 4: Become an expert and collect as much Geometry data and information as possible from online and print resources for your specific research job.
Step 5: Meet with your design team and facilitator to view the game choices and to brainstorm other game options.  Discuss with your team which  type of game your Design team will create.
Step 6: As a design team, discuss the most innovative games you could create for the 5th grade students at PW Moore and BE CREATIVE!
Step 7:  Keep up with your research, activities, notes, and homework with an electronic and paper file.  Make sure to give credit for all sources used. (You will be given a 3  1/2'' floppy disk and a 1'' binder to save all of your materials to use as a Game Portfolio)
Step 8: Interact and share your research with your design team during team meetings (see March, April and May calendars)
Step 9: Using your research findings, meet with your design team to update and begin creating your game you will use in your final culminating performance.  Submit a list of any materials/technology needed.
Step 10: Describe the plan of action for completing the games so all parts will be ready by Tuesday, May 6th.Submit a timeline to your facilitator with each member's responsibilities to the team project.  Use the blank calendars for  March  April and May. Notify facilitator of any equipment or materials needed to complete your products.
Step 11: Rehearse and play the games with our class on May 8th & May 10th.
Step 12: Final presentation:  Field Trip to PW Moore:  May 16th, 2008
Step 13: Post Assessment
Step 14: Complete self, and peer rubrics
Step 15: Feedback from teacher (Individual rubric)
