Bound: Two women try to steal 2 million dollars from a mob launderer, only to have a "flawless" plan blow up in their faces. Oh and they are lovers by the way. A very tense crime noir thriller that probably would not have gone anywhere were it not for the lesbian twist.

Dreamcatcher:Four men take a weekend retreat in the wilderness, only to come across a possible alien invasion. They have a psychic link to each other which becomes evident when one of them is taken over. It is at times incomprehensible, (that is if one has not read the book before the film, such as me) as there are some scenes that have you asking questions. But otherwise, it takes a while to get where it's going.

Best of Show: Various people from various locales converge in Philadelphia for a dog show. In a "mockumentary", the folks tell about their lives have been affected by their respective canines. All cullimating in the actual show, with play by play called by a dry witted announcing duo. quick witted comdey.

Alien Resurrection: Ripley is cloned yet another 200 years into her future by the military determined to use her alien progeny as soldiers. But as expected, the aliens aren't too keen on being controlled. Has a feeling of been there before.

Cecil B. DeMented: A film actress is kidnapped by a group of "cinema terrorists" to star unwillingly in their underground film about attacks on the film industry. I don't feel the envelope is even opend, let alone pushed.

Undercover Brother:He's a 70's soul brother recruited by The Brotherhood to stop THE MAN from mind controling the populace with laced fried chicken. Cute little spoof of Shaft-esque films,cliches, and attitudes. Solid.

Signs:A former reverend who has lost his faith must find the strength within himself to deal with the apparent arrival of aliens, who have left a crop circle in his field. He doesn't want to believe, but his children and brother are more open. Mr. Shaymalyan is probably the best filmaker out there right now. Gibson gives a great toned down preformance, Jaoquin pheonix gives a better performance than in Gladiator

One Hour Photo:A department store phot developer has an unhealthy devotion to a family that has developed their film with him over the years. When he discovers the husband is having an affair, he snaps. Could possibly the most creepy film I have ever seen. It just sucked the air right out of the room. Mr. Williams is a genius.

The Man Who Wasn't There:An extremely disassociated barber watches and smokes as misfortunes happen all around him. Those being a murder, his wife jailed, a blackmail, and it goes on. Lookey here, a Coen brothers film! more of a serious in tone, but still has that odd feel to it.

Made:Two would be californai hoods go to NYC to assist in a money drop, But being fish out of water, it kind of gets screwed up. Very quirky. You gotta have that ace in the hole!

The Kentucky Fired Movie:I'm not sure if it is spoofing a movie broadcast, or a showing in the theater, but it goes for many targets from a kung fu film to a headache commercial to the theater going experience. very funny.

Dazed And Confused:The last day of high school in the summer of 1976, various students just try to get through a day of hazing, getting high and drinking. Very good little film.

My Dog Skip: a young boy learns life lessons from the title character in the WWII smalltown. Get out the hankys, your tears are in for a bumpy ride.

Copland: A Jersey sheriff tries to protect himself and a young hero cop from some corrupt ones. Yes kids, when he's not flexing his muscles, Stallone CAN!!!! Act.

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial: An Alien gets stranded in California and needs the help of a young boy and his siblings to get back home. The government finds out and tries to put the kibosh on the plans. In 20 years, hadn't seen the film, and I know what I have been missing, a heart warming tale of a boy and his alien. Got choked up near the end.
