In 1954, the film Gojira was released in Japan to at that time a record box office. It was about an enormous fire breathing dinosaur, reborn by nuclear energy, destroying Tokyo. In 1956, after some editing and the addition of Raymond Burr, the film was know to the U.S as Godzilla, King of The Monsters!
On August 18, a new generation of japanese monster films has been released, Godzilla 2000. Featured in the film is a revamped king of the monsters with a leaner, meaner look, sharper backplates, and a greatly improved looking atomic firebreath! He's on the rampage again with two units of Japanese agencies keeping tabs, one that wants to study the Big G, the other, obviously wants to destroy him. While The Big G is rampaging through Japan, a UFO is found under the sea, awaken from its 60 million year sleep. It's destination:Godzilla!
