NEWS ABOUT ALL THAT IS HAPPENING TO THE MAN!

Bruce News!:January 3 2002- Let's see, much has happened to the man since March:
1. He has a cameo as the ring announcer in the upcoming adaption of the comic book "Spider-Man"
2. His book, the title changed to "If Chins Could Kill" has been released, I still have yet to pick up a copy.
3. He has filmed an odd little film called "Bubba Ho-Tep". He's a 70 year old nutcase who think he's Elvis, his best friend (Ossie Davis) Thinks he's JFK, and they do battle with a mummy!
4. The latest line in the figures have been released in the MacFarlane toyline as Evil Ash makes his appearence, an 18 inch tall talking Ash, with a couple of alterations and an exclusive Ash vs. Pit Witch has been released.
March 13, 2001- OK,It's old news, but the man is writing a book! His book, Confessions Of A "B" Movie Actor should be out in the fall. He says that he's doing the book to talk about the Hollywood machine and what not. His experiences I would venture to guess. Thanks Bruce, proving once again why you're the man!

January 4, 2000-According to the latest edition of WIZARD, The man will be getting his own video game based on the character everyone knows and loves him for. Currently in production, THQ is making a game based on his character of ASH!!!!!! The game will be called Evil Dead: Ashes 2 Ahes and it will be out for the Playstation in the coming year! Bruce will also be recording dialougue for the game! Check out the official site for more details! groovy (Well Autolycus is in the Xena N64 game but that ain't it)
He has a series that will replace Hercules. In a half hour show called "Jack Of All Trades, he plays a member of The secret service in the turn of the 19th century trying to hold back the appraoch of Napolean's army. The show will be set in the West Indies and reprtedly has a James Bond type feel. neat-o! But the show will be only a half hour long!
Here's what Bruce was up to in 1999!
1999 AD:
The X-Files: Everyone's favorite demon slayer plays (now get this) a DEMON! He's only trying to have himself a human baby, but they just seem to have protrusions of horns and tail in his wife's (and lover's) sonograms. So he drugs each woman and performs a "demon baby harvest", using his true for. Mulder knows what's up, and of course, is after the truth. There are at least one or two surprises in this episode, and ole BC is sporting a crewcut!
Hercules:The Legendary Journeys: For all of twenty seconds, he's Autolycus, with Iolus, fleeing a giant Chicken! But actually, ole BC is once again producer Bob Tapert. He and the crew are trying to salvage the season from having crappy scripts, lest the show gets the axe(how The most popular show in the world get's the axe is beyond me). So he and crew go on a corprate retreat to brainstorm. Hilarity ensues as Kevin Sorbo is the one who comes up with the ideas. BC has never brown nosed like this before. And HE directed this episode!
Xena: He stars as The King Of Theives, of course. Along for the ride are Joxer and the Xena lookalike Meg. They are looking for the Crown of Athena, a treasure Autolycus has been looking for for twenty years. It turns out that the key to obtaining the crown is a baby! Xena herself doesn't even appear until about 50 minutes into the show, just for title purposes. It really belonged to the "A" man. He really ought to get his own spin off!
Hercules: Auto and Herc are in a western type town and find out that the local burlesque features Auto's ex-wife! She's no happy because Auto let her take the fall, she claims she's over it. The town bank is robbed, and Auto is the prime suspect. He gets sentenced to death. Turns out his ex did it to get even, not knowing the penalty. Like a man, crying man that is, Auto go to the gallows. His last words, every single word he knows a-z. In the end, the ex admits it, and the two sort of have the feelings rekindled.
HerculesBruce directs the last episode of hercules. Hera is released from her prision, becasue Zeus is lonely. Which results in two titans also being released. Hera gets back her memory and tries to hurt Hercules. Meanwhile the titan Atlas is set free on a path to destroy olympus. All ends well, with the two heroes sitting down for a twenty second retirement before going on to new adventures!
