PLOT
OK, here is the story line, as I have taken from the novelization of the film Attack Of The Clones
On Coruscant, Senator Amidala is almost assassinated whilest arriving at the senate, but her decoy was killed as well as some security. She is against building an army of the Republic, the strongest voice in the Senate. Chancellor Palpatine has problems with a secession that is currently taking place, which may be behind the assassination attempt. So he has the Jedi Council place two Jedi in charge of protecting Amidala.
It turns out that Obi-Wan and his Padawan Anakin are sent on this task. Anakin thinks that instead of protecting the senator, they should be looking for the assassin, But Kenobi says they should be patient. They meet up with Amidala who is surprised at how Anakin has grown, but she still sees him as a boy. He still has longing eyes for her. Meanwhile on another part, an shadowy bounty hunter is a little pissed as his plot to kill Amidala has failed. The assassin he hire, a female changeling, apologizes. So the hunter, revealed to be one Jango Fett gives her a pair of deadly centepedes telling her not to fail. Amidala is not happy about all the fuss and tells the jedi to at least stay in an adjouning room, but she will have faithful R2-D2 as a room guard. Outside the window as she sleeps, a probe droid releases the two centepedes into an opening on the window. The insects slowly make their way to her bed and just as they are about to strike, R2-D2 sounds an alarm, and the jedi rush in, with Anakin destroying the bugs. "Probe droid", is all Obi Wan says as he crashes through the window, grabbing the hovering thing. Anakin, heads toward a hangar. He gets in a speeder and goes after his master, who tries to hang on, but ends up cutting the droids power and falls into Anakin's speeder. He puts power back into the droid and follow it to a different speeder, which takes them on an insane chase through the city ending up down below in a lowlife district. The two then go into a local bar and try to look casual. The assassin appears behind Obi-Wan. Just when she's about to fire, he flings his saber around, taking off her arm. As they try to find answers, she suddenly turns to dust. An odd looking dart falls away. As the two look to an opening, they see an "armored rocket-man" fly away.
Obi-Wan reports to the council concerning his findings and they have him investigate the assassination attempt while his padawan is to protect Amidala by hiding her out on her home planet of Naboo. Before they depart, Obi-Wan tells his learner to stay on the planet, and guard the senator. As they go off, Obi Wan seeks out an old friend, a local cook who says that the dart came form the planet of Kamino. He has never heard of the place, so he seeks info at the jedi archives, only to find out that the area of the galaxy has been "Erased", but gravitational fields indicate that there is a system in that area, so he flies off to that region. Meanwhile, Anakin and Amidala get to Naboo then go off to a hidden cabin. All the while people trying to convince Amidala that Anakin has the hot for her. Obi-Wan arrives on the planet Kamino, a rainsoaked water planet and discovers that a long dead Jedi master named Syfo Dyus commissioned the building of a clone army of the Republic created from an unarmored Jango Fett. Obi-Wan calls back to tell the Council of the news and figures more or less that Jango has to be the one and goes after him, lightsaber blazing. The two tussle for a bit, before Boba fires on Obi-Wan from the ship, sending Obi-Wan over a landing edge, ensuring an escape. But Obi-Wan pursues them anyho in his ship. Meanwhile, Anakin tries to put the moves on padme, But she holds him back, saying she couldn't live a lie. He dreams of his mother in pain, and decides to go to Tatooine, Padme tags along, of course. the two get to the planet, discover Watto sold her a while back to a Clieg Lars, and the two go there to discover he's her husband and he has a step-brother. He is told that a band of Tusken Raiders kidnapped her and a local band of people couldn't take on the nomads. Anakin goes after her anyways. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan chases the ship through an asteroid belt, with the two going at it in a dog fight. AT a couple of points, Slave-1 releases a couple of sonic charges, and believes that The jedi hsa been dewstroyed, but he hides on a roid. Back on Tatooine, Anakin finds the camp, uses the force to find his mother, and she dies in his arms, saying how proud she was of him. This sends him over the edge as he kills two guards at the entrance, and then another who approaches. Yoda is meditating in his chambers and hears the long dead Qui-Gon Jinn say "Anakin, NO! Don't!" and fears that Skywalker is filled with pain, death. He comes back to the Lars homestead with a wrapped body and an angry look on his face. Obi-Wan follows the ship to a near planet and lands it, and looks around. From on high, he sees the count in league with the trade Federation in trying to kill Amidala. He gets to his star fighter and tries to contact Anakin in order to relay a message to Coruscant, but finds he went to Tatooine. Anakin meanwhile is fuming, thinking he should never have left, his mother would be alive and Obi-Wan is holding him back and he should be powerful. he tells Padme he murdered the tribe of Tuskens, and he knows that he's better than that, but she says he's only human, trying to comfort him. They recieve a message from Obi-Wan and relay it to Coruscant. Obi says he just landed on a planet in pursuit of Jango when a destroyer droid surprises him. On Coruscant, Mace Windu, and Yoda are watching, tell Anakin to stay put, while Mace gathers up a force of Jedi and Yoda goes to Kamino. Padme says she will go help Obi-Wan and anakin must go as he is her protector.
Caught in some sort holding ray, Obi-Wan is confronted by Dooku who says that he is trying to fight the sith as they control the majority of the Republic. Kenobi says he will not join in the fight, and Dooku says he has done all he can. Anakin and Padme, with r2-d2 and c-3po in tow, arrive on the planet, landing in an exhaust port. They make there way, through what looks to be an assembly plant. A ways behind the two, r2 follows, 3po follows reluctantly. As Anakin and Padme make their way through, the residents wake from sleep and start attacking the two, resulting in their making their way through a conveyor system, Padme ending up in a smelting pot, Anakin's hand caught in some metal do-hicky. Artoo and 3po come up to a cliff, with artoo pushing 3po over it, catching a cargo box. He lands and his head is cut off, and placed on a droid body and a droid head on his body. Artoo just summons his rockets and flies through the factory. He comes across a panel and stops hot metal from being poured on Padme. She gets dumped out and captured. Anakin, gets captured himself, but not before having his saber sliced in half.
the two are then seen carted out to their execution. She finally tells Anakin she loves him and the two share a kiss before entering the giant arena, surrounded by thousands of genosians in the nose bleed section. In the middle of the arena, there are four posts, with Obi-Wan chained to one of them. Anakin tells Obi-Wan he sent the message, and tried a rescue,"Good Job", he says. Three creatures are brought out, a cat-like one, The acklay,a giant crab-esque one and a Reek,a giant rhino-esque one. The three do what they can, Obi-Wan fights off the Acklay for a bit, Anakin uses a mind trick on the reek and Padme knocks the cat-like one for a loop. The three end up on top of the reek, with the heads of the trade federation, Count Dooku, and Jango Fett upset. But the count has a little thing up his sleeve as he summons droidekas to kill the three, as they surround the reek. Back in the box seats, a purple saber lights up underneath Jango's chin as Mace Windu makes his presence known, and to signal hundreds of Jedi around the arena to fire up their sabers. With a droid army then summoned, the jedis get to the arena floor and start fighting the droids. Jango Fett joins the fight but gets decapitated by Mace Windu. C-3po has an identity crisis as he yells "die jedi", and then "what am I saying?" unitl Kit Fisto knocks him over, enabling artoo to pull his head off and reunite it with his again headless body. The jedi put up a great fight, but it comes down to a small circle of about 20 survivors surrounded by an army of droids.
The droids are commanded to stop firing for a few moments as Count Dooku allows them a moment to decide to join him or die, but Mace Windu more or less tells them to go to hell. As the droids prepare to fire, Gunships descend from up above, blasting away at the droids. Inside the ships are battalians of clone troopers, led by Yoda. While drawing the fire, the ships pick up the various survivors, and take off. Obi-Wan and Anakin notice the count taking off in a sith speeder and command their ship to go after him. Padme, onborad, gets knocked off the ship and plunges to the ground. Anakin is screaming his head off for the ship to turn around and pick her up. He and Obi-Wan have a verbal sparring match until he realizes that she would go after Dooku if he fell. Meanwhile, an immense battle rages between the armies of the droids and the clone army. Dooku lands in a hangar, preparing to take off, but he is confronted by Anakin and Obi-Wan. Anakin goes right after him, but is thrown back by force lightning. Obi-Wan goes after him, but his right arm and leg get momentarily unusable. Anakin blocks a death blow by Dooku and fights the Count using his and Obi-Wan's sabers. But in the fight, he gets his right arm sliced off. And as he's about to kill the two Jedi, Yoda comes walking in. He blocks every force thrown object, catches every Force lightning, and realizes the only way to defeat Dooku is to fight him. So the two compete in a furious lightsaber fight. JUst when Yoda seems the victor, Dooku distracts him by trying to drop a large tank on the two fallen Jedi. Yoda has no choice but to use his power to save the two injured Jedi, allowing Dooku to get to his ship and fly away. Dooku arrives on Coruscant with Darth Sidious waiting telling his master that the war has begun. Obi-Wan, Yoda and Mace confer on what has transpired, Obi-Wan says that Anakin has escorted Padme home. Armies of clones are loaded up on to ships, ready to launch into a full scale war, with Chancellor Palpatine watching from high above. On Naboo, Padme marries Anakin, his stump replaced with a golden right arm.
