Distinguishing Features
Kurt has three opposable fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, and he has two toes on each foot that are longer than any human's and are opposable as well. He has a 3 ft. long prehensile tail that can carry his own weight, fang-like canine teeth, and is blue-skinned.
*Side note
His spine is very flexible(acrobats), therefore spending his time in a crouch-like position doesn't hurt his posture.
Mutant Powers
Nightcrawler has the ability to teleport by opening a portal into another dimension and traveling through it by sheer will of thought. What he leaves behind is nothing short of a muffled "bamf" and a smell of brimstone from a small portion of escaping atmospere from the other dimension.
Kurt can only teleport to places he's been to in the past, or places he can see at the time just before his teleporting. This is so he doesn't re-appear inside a solid object which would ultimately kill him.
He can teleport the clothes he wears and certain amount of additional matter that is in contact with him, including other people. Traveling with Nightcrawler can leave someone sick and nauseous.
History
Born in Bavaria to a blue-skinned shape-shifter known as Raven Darkholme (aka Mystique), Kurt was shunned at birth due to his blue, demon-like appearance. Once the villagers realized who Mystique really was, she fled with baby Kurt, followed by an angry mob of villagers wanting to kill them. In order to save herself, Mystique selfishly dropped Kurt along a river, leaving him to his death. Fortunately, his father, Azazel, rescued him, and he then was quickly given into the care of a sorceress and Gypsy queen, Margali Szardoz.
Kurt grew up in a traveling circus and was very happy performing for audiences. Kurt exhibited natural agility and soon became the circus star acrobat and trapeze artist. Kurt worked closely with Jimaine, and the pair soon became involved in a romantic relationship.
As time went on, Stefan, Kurt's adoptive brother, suddenly went mad. Kurt and Stefan physically struggled with each other for a short time. The fight tragically ended with Kurt accidentally breaking Stefan's neck. Kurt was then hunterd down by the nearby villagers in Winzeldorf for his crime.
But, before a stake could be trusted into his heart, Professor Charles Xavier psionically froze the villagers and asked Kurt to join his team of mutant heroes known as the X-Men. Kurt agreed to join the group.
Despite NIightcrawler's demonic loooks, he professes a strong belief in God through his Catholic faith. Alway the charmer with a sense of humor, Kurt finds time to fence, read, and woo women in his of-time when he's not battling the forces of evil and those ignorant o the mutant cause.
