I missed Rolling Thunder in DC this weekend, but that's okay. My mom used to take me to it when I was in middle school. I thought she was SO weird for going up to those motorcycle dudes and talking to them. But now that I think of it, I think I inherited her gutso, and that's a pretty cool thing. Anyways, if you've never been, make it a point sometime in your life to go to DC for it to watch the thousands of Harley-Davidsons parade downtown with their MIA and POW flags. The rumbling of their engines is nearly deafening and you can feel it shaking your chest. The big, beefy Harley dudes have their skull helmets, big black goggles and nice smiles. It's quite a sight.

It's three wishes time. These would be my 3 wishes for right now, and what I would do with my wishes:
1. To win a freaking HUGE lottery.
I'm thinking somewhere in the $200 million range, though I'd be pretty content with a $15 million win, too. What would I do with all that money? I'd pay off my student loans and any other debts my family or I have, buy everyone in my family his or her dream car(s), build my dream houses, hire a personal seamstress/tailor to bring to fruition all my designs, put enough money away for a robust nest egg.
2. To have a fulfilling job.
Although I found a general direction of what I want to do (public relations/advertising stuff), I don't know exactly what I want my job to be yet. I just want it to be doing something that challenges me, allows me to be creative, gives me space to explore (I can't deal with being in the same situation/place at all times), has amazing benefits, and pays a big ole load of money!
3. To redecorate my dad's house.
Yeah,
Trading Spaces has finally gotten to me. I want to redo the entire house because it needs help! My mom can decorate just fine, for the most part, so I'm not too worried about her. But my dad... Come on - he's a guy! At the very least I want to redo my room whenever I get back home.

Today was yet another beautiful day in souther California. I actually got out, too. Went to this nice little Mexican place with my brother and Dean. Then went to the dog park where Doc had good fun and I saw this little husky that looked like Bishop. But I also saw this poor dog in a really bad position: another dog attacked him, bit his leg, and did NOT let go... the victim was badly hurt. Anyways, then I helped my brother paint his 2nd condo for a bit before walking home to watch the
Trading Spaces marathon. (I am so hooked!)  Then I got a pleasant surprise from someone - he got in touch with me. And the cupcakes I made were yummy as always. It's been a great day!
