This was such a freaking AMAZING weekend! First, schools out forever. Second, fountain day was so much more than I ever thought it would be. Third, I relaxed like crazy Sunday (today!).

Yeah. Fountain day. I don't even have the words to explain how much fun it was. The carnival was a blast. We got free stuff. I went down that giant slide a bunch of times. I took a lot of pictures of people I adore. I got, well, drunk. It was even warm outside! And then Laura and I walked over to the fountain with the rest of our class and jumped right in! The water was frigid, but it didn't matter.

As Alex said, jumping in was a hundred times better than I thought it'd be! I am lucky enough to be one of the people to see the real fountain day freshman year, and it looked like a he1l of a lot of fun, but I had no idea it would feel like
this! I was SO elated and just bursting with life when I was in there. Hundreds of people spashing around and hugging and kissing and screaming... It was surreal. I was wading around hugging everyone I knew, jumping on most of them. It was so happy that I only felt like I was in there for 10 minutes, but I know I was in there at least half an hour. I kissed SO many people on the cheek, and a few special ones on the lips. Nothing scandalous, of course! It was all about the moment. It was a happy thing to do! Unfortunately my calf cramped up like crazy and if Colin didn't hold me up I probably would have drowned in that 3 feet of water. But hey, I was in the fountain having the time of my life, feeling unbelievabe. LIke really, words aren't sufficient to capture exactly how fantastic it was. It was so special and so real and so full of love and life. It was finally our turn, and it was phenomenal.

I spent the rest of the afternoon at Colin and Andy's place. We were soaking wet (and I was limping) and they made us feel very nice. Colin was kind enough to lend 3 of us some of his clothes so we could warm up. Plus he ended up being a very warm human pillow for most of the night. We just watched lots of tv and had free pizza (cuz it was delivered so freaking late) and watched part of Swingers. Then they went to see a movie, and so did I. Alex, Schramm and I watched The Scorpion King, which was fun. It was a good end to a great day.

Today (Sunday) I just piddled around. Had a great lunch with Laura and Jin So. I got my car remote to work (it kinda didn't work yesterday when it got soaking wet in the fountain, stupid me) so I finally picked it up from on campus. Then Jin Soo, Laura and I just sat around watching movies and eating. If you're up for a fun martial arts flick, go rent Iron Monkey.

Senior week is already well on its way. I didn't go to the movie tonight. It was just "Road Trip". Alright I know that movie had to do with Ithaca so there's pride there, but it also has Tom Green in it. But whatever, school pride wins out. Tomorrow starts beer golf and then there's bowling. There's a wine tasting thing on Tuesday, and then Casino night on Wednesday. Thursday is the masquerade ball, and Friday is Commencement Eve. Then Saturday I GRADUATE! I have a feeling that this week is going to just fly by! I'm gonna make it as amazing as I can.
