| 4 November 2002 11:20 pm Monday "Pete" tells me that I should update my site more often. It's not that I don't have time to anymore; I just don't have much to say. Lol. At least most of the time. This time is different. I had a great weekend. Halloween was fun - went to Clarendon Ballroom and saw a bunch of people go all freaky. My favorite costume was some dude with a cardboard computer on his head, with the screen to his Match.com profile, and his face where the picture should be. There were chicks around him all night. Some other girl was a "One Night Stand". She dressed up as a night stand. I didn't dress up much, but I did look pretty spiffy. Some priest and cow kept hitting on me, plus getting groped by the monopoly money man. Lol. Hey, like I said, freaky people. Since Angela was home, we went out Thurs, Fri and Sat. The places we went out on Fri and Sat had dancing, which was pretty darn fun. I really do feel the most alive when I'm out there living beat to beat. I realized that I will not date anyone who either a) doesn't like to dance, or b) is SO bad at dancing that I'm embarrassed by him. I like dancing far too much to deal with that. After a lot of thinking, I also realized a few other things I won't compromise on in my ideal mate. First, he cannot like cats over dogs. Second, he can't think that cartoons are too childish and therefore beneath him. He has to be able to drive stick shift. Next, he can't be a save-the-worlder or do-gooder... though this one is kind of iffy because I tend to like that type BECAUSE they care enough for the both of us and I don't have to. Lol. Oh, I am so thrilled that the basketball season has finally started! We have season tickets, and the Wizards are actually doing well so far! First game we have ticks to is next Tueday. Unfortunately, I have to fly back early from Thanksgiving break so I can catch the Sixers game. But hey, it is the Sixers... This will be a good winter. |
