News Archives (July 29-August 16, 2000) 16 August 2000 **Check out these articles over at Sci-Fi IGN on both Claudia and Virginia. 13 August 2000 **I've finally got most of my friend Beth's ScaperCon 2000 convention pictures up. Link to them is on the Conventions page. There will be a chat with David Kemper, executive producer of Farscape (and the guy who wrote the Princess trilogy), on Thursday, August 17 at 9 p.m. EDT. in the Dominion's chat room. And here's some new Farscape episode titles, sorry no dates yet: "The Ugly Truth" and "Liars, Guns, and Money, pt. 1-3". Presumably the latter is the season finale story arc. 10 August 2000 **The Dominion is having a contest to win Farscape posters. You can enter through August 31, 2000, and the winners will be announced on September 1, 2000. 8 August 2000 **Hey I'm back from ScaperCon 2000 & I've got pictures (I'm working on getting them up) and summaries (links to these are on the convention page) of what I know happened there Friday thru Sunday. We all had a blast in St. Louis, and if you went to Creation's, then I hope you had as much fun as we did. Or if you couldn't go to either, then I hope these pictures help some. 3 August 2000 **Here's some exclusive news from jzero (a VP for Conquest): Virginia Hey - in Australia Virginia Hey will be guest of honour at the 19th annual Conquest Convention 6th-8th October Brisbane Australia at the Brisbane Convention Centre. It will be Virginia's first Australian Convention. 1 August 2000 **Creation has corrected the time of their chat with the cast on Friday. It is at 5 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (or 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time). **The Dominion, for those Scapers going to the Burbank convention, is planning a Pre-convention party from 6:30-8:30 PDT in the Celebrity Ballroom on Friday, August 4th. Only those who are registered members at Sci-Fi will be allowed into the party, so if you have been lurking & are going to this con, I suggest you register. 29 July 2000 **Two really cool pieces of news: for those attending ScaperCon 2000 next weekend, the committee has managed (through lots of hard work and negotiating with Jim Henson Television & Sci-fi) to secure a webcast with the cast of Farscape on Sunday, August 6th (sorry, no time listed as yet). **And for everyone, there will be a chat at Fandom with the cast on Friday, August 4th, at 5 p.m. (sorry, no indication as to whether it's ET, PT, what). |
