Everyone's favorite mom is back. Desiree Gould played Aunt Martha in Sleepaway Camp and now she plays house in Real Estate, her current career of choice. In recent conversations with mom, she says "I'm glad that I am remembered versus not being remembered, if you know what I mean..." She also is looking forward to reliving her Aunt Martha days and getting in touch with the rest of the cast.. "Even though Sleep Away Camp was an integral part of my creative life, I guess if you don't work in film on a daily basis, your thoughts get encompassed by what you are doing at that time. But, I am so excited and really think this is a great time for me to get resurrected..." Although she enjoys looking back on her Sleepaway Camp days (she even remembers the hats! "The hats that I was wearing in the film are probably long-gone now"), she has gotten on with her life. A life far from acting and into a more reality based world. One which allows a fan like myself to communicate with Aunt Martha through a box of technology... "It would have never dawned on me -- ever -- that people would have a web about 'SLEEP AWAY CAMP" -- I am really impressed!"

"I can't believe you remember the house! That is very incredible. I mean it was almost 18 years ago. I have some memories but not everything is vivid!! I rember the staircase, and the sitting room, living room and the beautiful lake and camp grounds. I have to watch the movie again and get right back into the details."
