Survivor Slip-Up: Michelle put too much faith in an alliance which had no faith in her.
First off, I want to establish that there are absolutely NO hard feelings. This is just a game and I'm honoured to have met so many wonderful people. I'd love to keep in touch with everyone once this is all done. I never was able to get my actual picture scanned for my info. But hopefully we'll meet again in other games or just chatting.
As far as the game goes, I think it's awfully hypocritical for people to be saying I had no Paleo pride. I was not the one who chose to break the Paleo pact and to be honest, if I had been given the chance to vote, even though it wouldn't have made a difference, it would have been for Janei. Even my own "alliance" (?) betrayed me. I don't blame anyone for voting for me. I think I was blabbing too much strategy and trying to help too many people. There were just too many great people in this game. But this was my first game of Survivor and I'll certainly learn for next time. I hadn't even decided on a person who I'd have like to be in the final 2 with.
Going with the flow isn't what wins you a game of Survivor. I got my inspiration from Lex and Boston Rob. Basing your vote on "hearing things" isn't fair because whatever you heard was not from me. I was doing my best to get myself and my alliance as far in the game as I could. A lot of Survivor is a numbers game. You need to be one up on everyone else and thinking ahead all the time. I can tell you straight out that my loyalties were strong. I in no way betrayed my tribe. I never voted for a Paleo member and no one asked me where my mind was at. I did not make any deals for anyone but myself. I've said before that I can only talk for myself and apparently I wasn't the only one trying to explain to everyone what I was thinking. Seriously, how could I get anywhere in the game with only one other person? It wouldn't work. So whoever said I have no honour, I'd sure like to discuss that cuz I think it is way more unhonourable to vote based on what someone made up or exagerated. I don't want to say anyone lied (although it may be possible) but I was obviously seriously misrepresented by a number of people. I hate to break it to the Paleo peeps, but you've already turned against yourselves. That's how the game goes. So don't be blabbing about being true to the tribe and all that bunk. Instead of just running off whatever you think, give me some proof of your opinions. I didn't read any concrete reasons in any of the votes. And lastly, I'm the cause of what? Beware, Cree, you're all marked as an enemy and anyone who tries to even talk to you is also marked as an enemy, apparently. So if you rat them out, you can stay on for a few more weeks. And careful who you trust and confide in and also who's word you take.
Don't confuse who I am with the game I play. You'll all be turned on eventually. Think again about who told you what about me because I can guarantee it that most of it is false or grossly exaggerated. Think again about who claims to be getting your back cuz they're not. But that's part of the wonder and craziness of the game. Think again about bragging about honour and loyalty. You all were the first Paleo to turn on your own. Not me. So who was disloyal and dishonourable? You couldn't even wait two more weeks to follow through with your own strategy. I don't expect anyone to believe me when I say "I was going to do this" or "I was planning on that" cuz only time would have told what I was really up to and I wasn't given that chance. Someone else decided for me.
I'm sorry this was so long, but I guess I had lots to say. Again, no hard feelings. I am more than willing to talk over anything with anyone who would like to talk with me about the game. E-mail me or message me and we can straighten things out. I can't wait to establish friendships outside the game. Everyone deserves a pat on the back for getting this far. Play hard and play smart and I can't wait to see who makes it to the top 2. Good luck!
