| If you are coming from another country and you have contacted us, we may be able to arrange transportation from Sofia airport to our Shalley in Stojkite for you. If you are a foreigner living in this country and know it a little bit, we are again available to help you with information or with anything we can concerning transportation from Sofia or Plovdiv. You may use the public transportation-the bus leaving from Sofia or Plovdiv to Pamporovo and we can meet you there to transport you to the Villa. We do not recommend train since it goes no further than Plovdiv. |
| If you are coming from Sofia (250 km, or 160 mile): |
| Take the highway through Tzarigradsko Shosse to the town of Plovdiv. It is 150 km (100 miles). A couple of miles before Plovdiv take the ring road that will lead you to Assenovgrad to avoid the city. In Assenovgrad follow directions for Pamprovo and Smoljan. From then on it is all one road that will take you all the way to Pamporovo. It is approximately 50 miles but most of it is curves. On the intersection where the road to Smoljan is on your left, take the steep right to resort Pamporovo. A mile further there is a crossing, take the road on the left, for which the sign says: Devin, Stojkite 7 km(5 miles). When you arrive in Stojkite, go left over the bridge to the centre of the village and the first right all the way to the top of it. You will recognize Villa Oraka for sure. |
| Coming from Plovdiv (100 km or 60 miles): |
| Follow the signs for Pamporovo and Smoljan. When you exit the city of Plovdiv, the next town on the way is Assenovgrad. Again follow directions to Smoljan and Pamporovo. From then on it is all one road that will take you to Pamporovo. It is approximately 50 miles but most of it is curves. On the intersection where the road to Smoljan is on your left, take the steep right to resort Pamporovo. A mile further there is a crossing, take the road to the left, for which the sign says: Devin, Stojkite -7 km (5 miles). When you arrive in Stojkite, go left over the bridge to the center of the village and the first right all the way to the end of it. You will recognize Villa Oraka for sure. |
