Their kiss had started to deepen but Alicia started pull away. She was very confused as to why Nick was kissing her. As she pulled away she looked at Nick. He looked so scared and confused. He bent back down and whispered in her ear. �Come out side with me. We need to talk� He stepped back and took her hand and brought her outside.
As they got outside Alicia spoke up. �Nick why did you kiss me?�
�I don�t know. It was just the song it brought back so many memories.� Nick said in a shaky voice.
�Alicia� Nick said grabbing a hold of her other hand looking at her straight in her eyes. �I still care for you. So much. You are all that I think about. I still love you and I don�t think that I�ll ever stop. I want you back.�
�Nick.. I don�t know. Oh God. I still really care for you too but I still don�t think I can make a commitment to you yet. Especially after we�ve been apart for so long. We broke up 2 years ago. And I�m not going to say that I�m not over you. Lord knows that I�m not but if you still want that commitment I can�t give it to you.� Alicia said looking down at their hands intertwined.
�I don�t care about you making a full commitment to me. That was stupid on my half to ask from you. I�m sorry. I�m sorry.� Nick kept repeating to her.
�Nick� Alicia said above a whisper. �I Love You.�
Nick looked up. He had been waiting to hear those words from her for so long. She hadn�t said them to him ever. He knew why too. Alicia had a really hard time to admit her feelings to people, even if they did mean the world to her. She also didn�t trust people very easily. Nick hugged her and whispered I love you in her ear. They stood there for a while until Mercedes and Mike both walked out of the club.
�Hey there you guys are! We�ve been looking all over the place for you.� Mercedes exclaimed finally noticing that they were hugging.
�Oh my did we interrupt something?� she asked.
Nick and Alicia pulled apart and just looked at each other.
�No Mer its ok.� Nick said looking at Alicia. He couldn�t take his eyes off her. He still didn�t know if they were back together but at least they knew how they felt about each other.
It was getting late in the night and Alicia was starting to get tired.
�Hey Mercedes, are you ready to get back home?� Alicia yelled over the music.
�No, sorry Licia, why don�t you ask Nick to drive you home? I�m sure he�d be up to it. He looks pretty beat anyways!� Mercedes screamed over the music while dancing.
Alicia just walked away towards Nick�s direction. Mercedes was pretty right, he did look tired. He sat at the table drinking a bottle of water and just staring blankly into the table. She sat down without him even noticing.
�Hey there is the table really that interesting?� She said startling him.
�A- leesh, you scared me! Haha. Nah not really I�m just bored. Ready to get out of this place.� He said looking back down to the table.
�Your not the only one. Mer isn�t ready to go back home yet. And I�m so tired.� She said in hopes he�d offer to drive her home but no such luck. She was just going to ask him and make it obvious.
�Nick would you mind driving me home please?� she asked
�Sure common.� He said grabbing her hand and pulling her through the crowd not letting go afraid that she�d be lost in the crowd.
They finally reached the spot where Nick had parked his black SUV. He opened the door for Alicia as she stepped in. He walked around the car and let himself in. He put in the keys, put in a CD and pressed play. I Swear by All 4 One came on filling the car with music. Alicia just sat there in the car listening to every word that they sang.

Alicia was almost in tears. She knew that Nick would do anything for her, no matter what. And she loved him for it.
�I know. I feel the same Nick. You know I ever since you walked out I beated myself up for never running after you. I should have or else we�d be together right now. Happy.�
�We can be. Be together and happy that is. If you want to.� Nick said shyly.
�What?� Alicia asked confused.
�Will you go back out with me?� Nick said as he pulled up into Alicia�s driveway.
