Chapter 5

Having dried ourselves and woken Emma, we went back into the Park for more
skeleton overload by "Pirates of the Carribean" and also visited more
hilaroius rides such as the Autopoiea ( where you could drive your own
minature sports car around a dinky little circuit, providing that the car
and/ or you didn't overheat, and that you didn't cause a multiple pile- up!)
More rides followed, including Space Mountain and others. Also souvenir
buying, including George buying an incredibly cute but obese glass pig for
her mother. George and Edd found a glass replica of Sleeping Beauty's Castle-
wait for it- priced at 10,000. It was only about 4 feet tall.
We got Fast Passes for some of the rides, but again didn't use them, being
the morons that we are. However we found a cheap place to eat in Frontier
Land, and happily ate burgers, fries and drank Coke whilst Emma scared some
French people by taking pictures of a load of food arranged on an empty
table, (later this photo will join a bizarre collection entitled "The
Spiritual Mark" (George prefers "How To Waste Camera Film")).
In the evening, we sought out the Fireworks Parade again, and sung along to
a rendition of YMCA. Don't laugh, but Saz and Emma were dancing to it. In the
evening we hacked our comfortable hotel rooms and later Saz, Emma and George
went to the bar in the hotel, which was very nice. Drinking cocktails, we
watched a Kareoke show which proved to be a source of great amusement. We
stayed until about 12.00 and then wandered, slightly drunk, back to the
hotel. George then went for a midnight walk, but unlike Emma, remembered to
take the key with her. George thought that it was amazing how quiet the Park
and Disney Village was even at 1.00 am. There were also lots of fish in the
river, seemingly having their own party( ?)
The next day was begun with a "superior" breakfast in the Park. We were
initially a tad late for the start of this, having got up about 2 minutes
before we were due to be there, and then missing the bus. Mogoot forgot his
ticket and went back, to have a lie- in. Very wise. However the breakfast was
great, and included fruit salad, yogurt etc. We unwisely put some croissants
and a yogurt in Edd's bag to take back for Mogoot. Next we decided to make
use of the queue- free park and went on about 5 rides in 10 minutes,
including one resembling fat, flying elephants going around in dizzy circles.
Also we went on a runaway train ride- which George found rather tame.
There was an outdoor version of "It's A Small World" which had boats going
around at an irritatingly slow pace whilst the occupants gaped at small
gardens, palaces and other edifices from Disney films. There was even an
Aladdin's Cave, with plastic semi- precious stones glued to the walls. It was
whilst we were in this cave that Edd discovered that the yogurt he had saved
for Mogoot had leaked into his Orange rucksack. We then jumped off the slow
pace boats and ran towards a fountain. We tried to rectify damage caused to
Edd's bag by washing out the bag, and emptying copius amounts of cherry
yogurt, into this  very pretty fountain, watched by a disapproving Frenchman
and his son. After this embarrasment we ran back to the hotel and found
Mogoot.
