Chapter 6

The rest of the day was spent going on rides of great craziness, and George
wandered off, intending to meet up with Edd and others. However this never
happened, and instead Edd, George and Mogoot returned to the hotel on their
own, hoping to find Emma and Saz. But they weren't there. In their place was
a load of PAC- a -MACS (ponchos) on the boy's beds, surrounded by ripped
paper. However the bathroom had suffered most. Some buggage badgers had
wandered in casually and signed their names on the mirror in Emma's lipstick.
Mogoot thought that this was a waste, lipstick was cool.
Next we set off to the ice cube machine, which had obviously been installed
just so that we could use it. No-one else seemed to use it- they may have
been scared of it, or may not have known how to use it- but most likely
because they weren't able to see it, as we were constantly standing infront
of it. Having kicked most of the ice over the floor and at each other, we set
off, clutching Oasis bottles of ice. We then had a very Mexican siesta, under
the shade of the pines by the river. It wasn't relaxing for the passers -by,
having Saz and Emma chuck ice cubes at them. Mogoot went off to get another
tonne of ice, and promptly returned, and accidentally threw it all over the
grass. So we scraped it up and threw it at Edd, who ran around crazilly,
screaming.
To calm down, we decided to take a trip on the lake (in front of the Newport
Bay Club). We sauntered off to the lake, and after a crazed ticket person
trying to con us into paying him 40.00 (really it was 4.00) for a half hour
boat hire, saw some crazy Disney staff pushing each other into the lake and
wondered if we could go for a swim too, it was so hot.  George and Edd leapt
into Swan No2, and Emma, Saz and Mogoot into No5. After George and Edd
crossed the entire lake in about 3 mins, they looked back to see the others
going around in hopeless circles just past the "harbour". However the others
peddled to the centre of the lake after a few minutes, but were suddenly
surprised by a crazy Capt. George and 1st Mate Morris almost ramming their
boat into No5. Thus Emma, Saz and Mogoot yelled out that it wasn't fair,
their boat could only be steered in one direction, but George yelled back
instead that they should peddle faster, and that she hated Mogoot. After
making 1st Mate Morris completely sick by peddling at speed around the lake,
George reluctantly returned to port, but not before watching the supervisor
zoom over to Emma, Saz and Mogoot and telling them to stop bailing water into
the boat, it would sink. On return we all bought slushies and walked back
along the river path, parrallel to the Hotel Cheyenne Resort.
After a while, we marched off in the direction of the bar (at this point Edd
went off on his own, presumably to get some peace or find the guilty buggage
badgers, we shall never know which).
The Karaoke (no i don't know how to spell it, someone tell me!!) proved to
be a great success, with Emma and Saz singing "I'm a big big girl", soon
followed by other songs such as "Goodbye" etc with Mogoot singing along
happily. We were constantly watched by a French waitress who seemed to have
nothing better to do than stalk us and ask us if we wanted any more
cocktails. The people on the next table cheered along Emma etc and in the
quiz Emma and Mogoot excelled themselves by correctly guessing the names of
Disney tunes, and won two tickets to play in the Games room.
