Why do I do this to myself?
Afflict pain when I know it hurts
Why do I do this to myself?
This isn�t something that I should exert
What is it that I have to gain?
When every time I�m like this
All I seem to do is cause more pain
This is what I must confess
I�m not perfect
But yet, who is?
What else can you expect?
This is far from bliss
It causes heart ache
And unfortunately physical pain
But I continue to pray that one day I will awake
Something will happen that I won�t be able to explain
All I�ll be able to say
Is that what ever this is
All the pain went away
