Promised by God
That He will answer my prayers
And send me the perfect friend
You, who I prayed for for years
Ever since I was younger
I prayed for you
That God would put you in my life
To show me who I really am
Asking God for you
Was the greatest thing
The most humbling thing
That I could ever do
Never giving up
You always see it through
That I understand
Exactly what I mean to you
Until now
I doubted that you really cared
But I still prayed

I don�t know why you let me do this
Right now I don�t understand
Even though it was a big risk
You provided a way for me

This trip wasn�t about whom I came to see
This trip was about something more
Never got to wear anything I "brought"
I felt like I lost everything
Frustration is what I felt and was a must not
But that didn�t stop anything
For all these blessings, I praise you Lord
I thank you for putting these people in my life
I don�t know about what I�ve been told
If this is a door that�s opening in my life
Where I should go or what I should do
If it is so, Lord you are in control
Though I don�t understand, let your will be so
With everything that�s happened

The comfort that Your love brings

Not having anything to really worry about
But finding yourself searching at the days end
There's an empty place in your busy life
There's a tugging at your heart
Not sure what it is exactly
But knowing that it's never stopping
Trying to go on with life, trying to ignore
Years go by and it's still there
That tugging at your heart
Still searching for the emptiness
Knowing that nothing in the world is right
Talking to people about how you feel
This emptiness in your busy life
Maybe he shared the love of Christ
And it's caught your attention
You ask yourself if this is it
The love of Christ, will that fill me?
What will it hurt to try and see
Answers come and change your life
Let Christ lead you to show others
The answer that filled the emptiness
Christ's love and forgiveness is all you need
To know that your life is finally complete.
