Chapter 7

"Are you guys still mad?" John asked.
"No, we're cool now" Claire said.
"How was shooting?" Sydney asked.
"Paul, why don't you answer that" John said.
"We have to re-do it tomorrow" Paul said.
"Why?" Sydney asked.
"Because Paul and George got into a fight. Not argument." Ringo said.
"Oh no, not because of us" Claire said jumping up.
"No cause their other girlfriends are having a fight" John said.
"What?" Sydney and Claire cried in unison.
"Joke" Ringo said.
       They laughed meekly.
"Funny" Claire said.
Sydney walked over to Paul and Claire walked over to George.
"Paul, can I have a little chat with you?" Sydney asked.
"Whatever" he said.
They walked a little away from the group.
"Can I talk to you?" Claire asked George.
"If you must" George said.
They walked over to the other corner.
"Paul, I'm sorry for what I said. That was just what would have happened if Claire hadn't dated you," Sydney said.
"Uh huh" Paul said.
"No I'm serious! But just for the record...you don't ,do you?" Sydney asked him.
"No. I really like Claire and I wouldn't do that to her" he said.
"So, are you mad at me?" Sydney asked.
"No ,I guess not" Paul said.
"Good!" she said giving him a hug.
       Meanwhile with Claire and George...
"George, I'm not trying to steal Paul away," Claire said. "I just really like him and I want to to spend time with him."
"Yeah, I guess if Sydney had been here I would of done the same thing" George said.
"So you're not still mad are you?" she asked.
"No" he said.
They gave each other a hug. Everyone came back into the living room.
"We cool now?" John asked.
"Yup. It's been a hard's day night" Sydney sang.
"And we've been fighting like a mug" Claire sang.
"A mug?" Paul asked.
"Futuristic in-joke" Sydney said laughing.
"It means mother fucker" Claire explained.
"A nice little word so we could say it in front of our parents" Sydney said.
"Bad little girls" John said.
"You know it, baby" Sydney said.
"Man, it's been a rough day" Ringo said sitting down.
"Ruf! That's how your mother likes it Trebek" Claire said.
       Sydney started to crack up.
"Excuse me?" John asked.
"From a TV show in the future" Claire said.
"Stop using all these jokes we don't know! It makes me feel not cool" John whined.
"Ok sorry, Johnny luv" Sydney said grinning.
"Dang, I have a song stuck in my head" Claire said.
"What is it?" Paul asked.
"Can't tell ya" Claire said.
"Why?" Ringo asked.
"Cause it's a song you guys hadn't made yet" Claire said.
"Now I wanna know" Sydney said.
"Hmm...lemme think of a way to hint to you what it is" Claire said thinking.
"Well?" Sydney asked.
"Okay okay, this isn't going to make sense to anyone else but you....okay here goes. 'He was wrong and really gay'" Claire said.
Sydney started laughing.
"Lordie! That was hilarious" she said.
"Anyway, what shall we do for dinner?" John asked rolling his eyes.
"Room service?" George suggested.
"Fab! Hey when do you guys get to go and stay at your own houses again?" Sydney asked.
"Whenever we can" Paul said.
"Hey Eppy, order us some room service" John called.
"Okay John" he called.
Sydney and Claire looked over at each other and rasied their eyebrows.
"What?" John asked.
"Nothing..." Sydney said.
"No what?" John asked.
"Have you noticed something about Brian?" Claire asked quietly enough for Brian not to hear.
