Chapter 2
"I saw you standing there" she sang.
"How's the future?" he asked.
"Good, and the past?" she asked laughing.
Everyone was silent as they looked on.
"I really missed you" George said finally.
Sydney ran over and gave him a big kiss and hug. He spun her around.
"You look great" he said as he set her down.
"I see Brian has gotten you into the suits" she said.
Everyone came over and sat down around Sydney and George.
"So, why have you been away so long?" Claire asked.
"Well, when I went back I had to say we were kidnapped, and tell them that you were like dead or whatever. I got all your....Beatles stuff! Well, earlier I was listening to the radio and I heard...the theme song for the movie you guys are making and then I just had to come!" Sydney said.
"So was anything different?" Claire asked.
"Yeah, it was very creepy! I was looking at one of the Beatles books and it like had you in it. It only mentioned me once but it mentioned you a lot. There's a whole lot of pictures of you. Me and Jessica were spending the night one night and were laughing at all the stuff that was different" Sydney said.
"Was like later stuff different?" Claire asked concerned.
"I dunno. It only had up to where you guys were. People have been erased from people's memories...it's creepy" Sydney said.
"hmmmmmm.!" Claire said. "That's my thinking noise.Sorry. Ummm was a certain...John's monkey..gone?" Claire asked.
"Yeah, and so was a certain...Eastman !" Sydney said grinning.
"YEY!" Claire said smiling.
"No this isn't fair! Tell me some stuff!" John whined.
"Well I already told you Julian was precious" Sydney said.
"You know Julian?" Ringo asked.
"Well I don't know him personally, seeing as he's like 33 in my time and he's just a little baby now!" Sydney said.
"33?" Paul asked.
"Yeah! And you're 58 in my time! George is 57 and I don't need to say anymore" Sydney said quickly.
Sydney glanced at John and wanted to cry.
"So anything happen that wouldn't be in the history books?" Sydney asked.
"Claire and I got a house together" Paul said taking Claire's hand.
"Awww...but I did know that" Sydney said "That was in that book you had Claire, the one with the pictures."
"Which one? I had like..20,"Claire said.
"Damn, you like know everything" John said.
"Yes, I am all knowing" Sydney said in a large voice.
"Hey, I know stuff too!" Claire protested.
"So what's happening tomorrow?" Sydney asked laughing.
"Ha! I can answer that one!" John said quickly.
Everyone turned to look at him.
"Well know-it-all?" Claire asked.
"We're going to be shooting some new scenes! I think the one on the train" John said looking at Brian.
Brain nodded.
"So you guys like know the script? I mean is it like memorized?" Sydney asked.
The guys looked around sheepishly.
"Sydney and I probably know the script better then you guys do!" Claire exclaimed.
"I'm sure you do, you Beatles obsessed FREAKS!" John said.
"Who me? No never! Ugh I hate the Beatles!" Claire said sticking her tounge out.
"Oh man! I have no clothes!" Sydney said suddenly.
"Well you could go naked..." John said rubbing his hands together.
"Hey NO!" George said.
"As much as I would like to become a nudist..." Sydney said grinning.
"Sydney, me and you could go shopping now, I mean if you want" Claire offered.
"Yeah, let's go!" Sydney said "So where is good to shop here?"
"Well let's go" Claire said "Seeing as you look like a freak!"
"Hey shut up!!!" Sydney cried.
"I have some money" Claire said patting her purse.
The girls left after they gave the guys kisses (except better ones to George and Paul). They walked down the street.
