AIT Day 41
November 6th, 2002
Last day of extra duty, HOOA! My chest feels like it's going to rip out of my body. We did 400 push ups today. Two days until the weekend. I'll finally have more than three pairs of black socks. Woo hoo! I'm going shopping.
The learning of mechanics continues. Some of us are catching on faster than others. Some still think that you can order a tachometer at Taco Bell. We're no longer mindlessly copying test answers from our notes. We're applying what we learn now. It's still very easy, but it's getting a lot better. Too bad a lot of the test answers are marked by previous students on the six-year-old technical manual. It takes out the fun.
