AIT Day 39
November 4th, 2002
I didn't write all weekend, so I feel as I should write. Nothing happened this weekend. Extra duty was good to me. I got released early the whole weekend. The only thing that sucked was waking up two hours before everyone else on Saturday to start extra duty. I have three days left on it and you'll never hear me bitching about it again.
Today we finally got out on the floor and started working on vehicles. We're fixing the overload sensor switches on the crane of a 10-ton. We start out small, but we'll move on to engine repairs soon. I like being out on the floor. Classroom instruction was intolerable. With all these vehicles out here that we could be working on. The day goes by a lot faster, too.
Today I counted 24 school days left. There are two four days weekends this month and I graduate in mid-December. The rest of AIT will fly by.
