Israel Military Order Concerning Transport (Dead Sea)
In accordance with the authority vested in me as the commander of the region and in accordance with Article 68 (1) from the Order Concerning Transport Instructions, I hereby issue the following instructions:
- Definitions
1. In these instructions:
- 'The Dead Sea"-The area marked in black on the map.
- "The map"-The map with the measurements 100,000:1 carrying the name 'Dead Sea' and which is kept with this Order with the officer in the instructions section at the area leadership.
- Banning Transportation
2. It is prohibited to move, using either sea transport or using non-sea transport, in the Dead Sea area between 17.00 hrs. and 5.00 hrs. the next morning.
- Distribution
3. Edited copies of these instructions and the map will be kept at the police station offices in the strip laying within the borders of the Dead Sea for whomever wishes to have a look at them.
- Implementation
4. The implementation of this Order commences as of 1 December 1969.
- Title
5. This order will bear the title, "Instructions Concerning The Transport and Transportation (The Dead Sea)(5730-1969)(The West Bank)".
