Israel Military Order No. 1147 Concerning Inspection of Fruit Trees and Vegetables (Amendment No. 2)
In accordance with the authority vested in me as the commander of the Israeli Defense Forces in the region, and because I believe this Order is necessary for the interests of the residents, and in order to protect the production of agricultural products in the region for the interests of the residents, I hereby order the following:
- Amendment of the Article of the Order
1. In the Order Concerning the Inspection of Fruit Trees and Vegetables (Judea and Samaria) (No. 1015) of 1982 (hereafter the Original Order), in Article 1 the words "vegetables-agricultural development of pIants shown in the Second Appendix" are deleted.
- Amendment of Article 2A
2. In Article 2A of the Original Order:
- (1) That which is mentioned in the Article will be known as (a), and after the word "vegetables" will come: "included in the second appendix."
- (2) Addition after Article (a):
- "(b) A person may not raise vegetables included in Article 3 until he receives a permit from the competent authority.
- (c) The competent authority may issue a general permit for categories of agricultural products and may, at most, specify orders for specific areas.

- Addition of Third Appendix
3. After the Second Appendix in the original Order it should state:
"THIRD APPENDIX |
- 1. Onions
- 2. Onion Seeds"

- Implementation
4. The implementation of this Order will commence as of 1 August 1985.
- Title
5. This Order will bear the title "Order Concerning the Inspection of Fruit Trees and Vegetables (Amendment No. 2)(Judea and Samaria)(No. 1147) of 1985."
