Israel Military Order No. 474 Concerning The Amendment of The Law Maintaining Trees and Plants (Inspectors)
In accordance with the authority vested in me in my capacity as the commander of the region and because I believe this Order is necessary for the residents' welfare, I hereby issue the following Order:
- Addition of Articles 3A and 3B
1. In the Law Maintaining Trees and Plants 85 (Jordan) (1966), insert the
following after article 3:
- Appointment of Inspectors
3A. The military commander has the right to appoint inspectors.
- Authority of Inspectors
3B.
- (a) The inspector will oversee the implementation of this law and any instruction issued in accordance with it, and is permitted to himself order its implementation.
- (b) In addition to paragraph (a) above, the inspector will be authorized to:
- (1) Demand that any person who the inspector believes has committed a violation of this law submit his identification papers or any other certificate he has on his person which is deemed satisfactory.
- (2) Evict from any planted land any person obstructing his work or violating this law.
- (3) Take any person to the police station who the inspector thinks has violated this law and refused to identify himself in accordance with paragraph (b)(l) above.

- Implementation of this Order
2. The implementation of this Order will commence as of 1 August 1972.

3. 3. This Order will bear the title "Order Concerning the Amendment of the Law Maintaining Trees and Plants (Inspectors) (West Bank) (No. 474) of 1972.
