Israel Military Order No. 155 Amending the Order Concerning the Transport of Agricultural Products
In accordance with the authority vested in me in my capacity as commander of the Israeli Defense Forces in the West Bank region, I hereby issue the following Order:
- Addition to Article 2, Sections A and B
1. 1. In the Order Regarding the Transport of Agricultural Products (West Bank Region) (No. 47) of 1967, add after Article 2:

- (A)
- (a) The competent authority may specify in a permit the route by which agricultural products are transported and their destination.
- (b) Any person who transports products in a manner not in accordance with the specifications contained in the permit will be considered to have transported the products without a permit.

- (a) The competent authority will, in writing, appoint inspectors.
- (b) The inspector appointed in accordance with this article is authorized to take any of the following actions so long as he has reasonable grounds for thinking that it is necessary for the execution of this Order:
- (1) To stop and search any transport vehicle.
- (2) To seize agricultural products, containers, and certificates which may reasonably be believed to be in violation of this Order.
- (3) To order every person who transports or possesses agricultural products to submit all certificates related to the agricultural products, and to provide the inspector with any relevant details.
- (4) To order every person who transports agricultural products seized in violation of this Order to transport the products to a destination ordered by the inspector, provided that the destination is not more than fifty kilometers away from the site of the seizure.
- (5) If the person engaged in transport refuses to transport the agricultural products as provided for in paragraph (4) above, the inspector may contract any person to transport the agricultural products in the vehicle in which they were seized. The contracted person will be considered the executor of the transport and the cost will be borne by the violator.
- (c) Products seized in accordance with this Order will be disposed of in the manner ordered by the competent authority.
- (d) The competent authority and the inspector may exercise the authority vested in them in accordance with this article whether a person has been legally accused in relation to said agricultural products or not.
- (e) This article does not detract from the authority which vests in accordance with any law or security regulation.

- Implementation of this Order
2. The implementation of this Order commences on the date it is signed.

3. This Order will bear the title "Order Amending the Order Regarding the Transport of Agricultural Products (West Bank Region) (No. 155) of 1967."
