Israel Military Order No. 32 Concerning Tobacco Law
As I believe this Order is necessary for the purpose of maintaining public order, I hereby issue the following:
- Definitions
1. In this Order:
- "Tobacco Law" - Tobacco Law (No. 32) of 1952 as implemented on 7 June 1967.
- "Law of Unified Fees" -- Law Unifying Fees and Additional Taxes Collected on Imported, Exported, and Locally Produced Goods (No. 25) of 1966 as implemented on 7 June 1967.
- "Regulation of Unified Fees" -- Unified Additional Fees Regulation (No. 80) of 1966, issued in accordance with the Law of Unified Fees, as implemented on 7 June 1967.
Unless otherwise indicated, these terms will bear the above definitions in the following articles of this Order.
- Payment

- A) This Order imposes additional unified fees on tobacco and tobacco products
(except cigarettes) of 20% (twenty percent) of the fees collected in accordance with the Tobacco Law, in addition to the fees imposed by the Tobacco Law.
- B) This Order imposes additional unified fees on cigarettes in the following manner:
- (1) 42 (forty-two) fils on each pack of cigarettes consisting of 20 (twenty) cigarettes and costing more than 60 (sixty) fils.
- (2) 11 (eleven) fils on each pack of cigarettes consisting of 20 (twenty) cigarettes and costing less that 60 (sixty) fils.
- Production and Marketing Licensing
3. It is prohibited to produce and market cigarettes which cost less than 60 (sixty) fils per pack, unless pursuant to a license issued by the responsible official and in accordance with the conditions of this license.
- Retention of Validity
4. To prevent any confusion, it is hereby ordered that, with the exception of the matters dealt with in this Order, the Tobacco Law, the Law of Unified Fees, and the Regulation of Unified Fees will remain entirely valid, in accordance with the regulations issued in Order No. 2 by the Israeli Defense Forces Commander of the West Bank region.
- Implementation
5. The implementation of this Order commences on 27 June 1967.

6. This Order will bear the title "Order Regarding Tobacco Law (West Bank Region) (No. 32) of 1967."
