REPEAL OF MEJELLE LAW, 5744-1984*
   
Repeal of Mejelle. 1. The Mejelle is hereby repealed.
Saving of laws. 2.
  • (a) This Law shall not derogate from any provision of Law maintaining, in respect of a particular matter, the validity of any provisions of the Mejelle.
  • (b) This Law shall not be construed as derogating from the validity of any law applied by a Shari'a Court.
