PLANNING AND BUILDING (AMENDMENT No. 11) LAW, 5740—1979*

Addition of sections 207A to 207C.

1. In the Planning and Building Law, 5725—1965⁽¹⁾, the following sections shall be inserted after section 297;

"Carrying out of order.	207A. (a) Where the Court has instructed the Local Commission to carry out an order under section 205 (1) or (2), the Commission shall carry it out within the time prescribed therein, (b) The Local Commission may, after studying the opinion of the District Police Commander, ask the Court to order the sentenced person to carry out an order referred to in subsection (a) instead of the Local Commission. (c) Where an order referred to in subsection (a) has not been carried out three months from the time prescribed for carrying it out, the Local Commission, the District Commission or the Attorney-General or his representative shall ask the Court to order that the sentenced person be instructed to carry out the order instead of the Local Commission; an application by one of the said authorities shall relieve the others of their obligation.
Detention of sentenced person until order has been carried out.	207B. Where the sentenced person has not carried out an order which the Court, under section 207A (b) or (c), has instructed him to carry out, the Court may, on the application of one of the authorities mentioned in section 207A (c), order that he be detained until the order has been carried out.
Saving of laws.	207C. The provisions of section 207A and 207B shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the provisions of any other law.".

Inapplicability.

2. The duty of making application under section 207A (c) of the principal Law shall not apply in respect of orders made before the publication of this Law in Reshumot.
