The Negev | 1. For the purposes of this Law, the Negev is the Beersheba subdistrict as referred to in the Notice of the Division of the Territory of the State into Districts and Subdistricts and the Description of Their Boundaries(1). | |||||||||
Development and Settlement of the Negev |
2. The Government shall attend to the development and settlement of the Negev and, within the framework of the Development Budgets at its disposal, shall allocate resources for the development of the Negev. | |||||||||
The Council and its functions |
3. There is hereby established the Negev Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council"). Its functions shall be to advise the Government on everything connected with the development and settlement of the Negev and with the initiation of enterprises and encouragement of investments in it. | |||||||||

Implementation and regulations |
5. The Ministers are charged with the implementation of this Law and may make regulations as to any matter relating to its implementation. | |||||||||
