friendship

This set of pages is dedicated to "FRIENDSHIP." Whithout my friends I would be nothing today. My friendships have varried over the years not all have gone the way I wanted them to nor ended up the way that I would have liked, but in the end something was always gained and that was a friend.
I believe some friends are ment to be for just a season. Put in our lives at just the right moment to point us in the right direction, to be a listening ear when we are at a time in our lives when only a friend can help, or to offer a shoulder to cry on. Then when their task is done they simply move on and although if seems they have forsaken us it is really just that the task that was set out for them was complete and they need to make room for the next friend to step in and take over for there is a new crises,sadness,excitement or joy around the next corner that someone else can share. And although that friend will last only a season in our hearts they will remain forever.
Other friends I believe are to last forever those ones you can call at 3am just to say "hey i need to talk" or the ones that will talk with you for ours about nothing at all. Those friends are also the ones that will listen when you ramble on and on and on about meaningless things,offer their own shirt to wipe your tears and hold you when you need to feel loved. Eternal friends will open up to you about their needs and share their joys. These friends will cry with you, laugh with you , and get plain stupid with you all because they enjoy your presance and they like to see you smile when all is said and done.
One thing I have learned over the years is that friends need friends too. It was and still is a hard lesson to learn although they will listen to you at the drop of a hat and ask for nothing in return they too need a listening ear,a shoulder to cry on,and a hem of a shirt to wipe their tears, They also need some one to rejoice with when they have made that right decission,gotten that new promotion,or had a new child or grandchild born.
I believe the greatest sight in the world is to see two people caring for one another and see their happy smiles in the end because they know they can count on each other because they are bound by the greatest gift in the world.......FRIENDSHIP.
