I think that this says a lot about our current situation. I can think of quite a few Christians that scare non-christians. There is a fine line between being "in the world, but not of it" and being stupid. We have no sense of tact in our interactions with non-Christians. I really hate it when evangelism is done in this manner (and most of it is). I guess that this quote applies in that if we love others, and put them above ourselves (servanthood), then our lives will be more life-like and Christ-like. Furthermore, in light of Merton's quote, we need to let God make us like Christ, then the love and servanthood thing will have no choice but to fall into place.

I'm really tired and stressed right now. I'm getting into the heat of finals week, and I'm ready to get out of the kitchen, if you know what I mean. There isn't a whole lot of excitement around here lately, so I haven't been posting much. I think that once finals are over in a few days, I'll be able to think about something other than Marlowe's Doctor Faustus, my Comparative Religions take-home final, my Internship I covenant, or my baby.

Speaking of baby, I think that I might get a copy of our ultrasound up here soon.

Oh yea, where was I? I have journals for Psychology due, and a massive Hebrew I final tomorrow that includes all paradigms for all word types.
